Ben really does. He wove pretty highlights through my hair that look natural, subtle but decidedly blonde, no more light brown kinda sorta dirty blondish for this girl. I am really happy !

I went to Christian recently for color and cut and I was very pleased. I loved Christian not only because he did a great job and my hair looks amazing, but also because he listened to me and gave me really good advice. Recommended without reservations!!

Some time ago I decided to give Trimmings a try-out because I was looking for an alternative to my previous, very expensive (although very good) hairdresser. I was amazed. I got a great cut in a really friendly environment and , all at a reasonable price. Since that visit, I have had lots more great cuts from Ben plus help and advice about colour. Oh, and I've just discovered I can have a really good manicure as well. Highly recommended.”

“After a year of trying to find a good hair stylist, a friend of mine recommended George . In that year, he has SAVED my hair! He is great for colour and cut - it lasts forever! He convinced me to try a keratin treatment, and he was so right! I look great leaving the salon, and his cut, colour, and treatments allow me to look great every day!

The best hair cut and colour I have had so far - it's taken a few years off me and given me a good old spring in my step. What an excellent change to all the pretentiousness and bad atmosphere of all the high-end salons I've tried and tested up to now. Think I've found my hairdresser at the end of the rainbow! I absolutely love this place, and everyone in it. Not only do I have the best possible hair - I'm now known for my great hair - but everyone's just so friendly and welcoming. George has been coloring my hair for almost a year now, and I am always extremely happy with how it turns out. He really understands the science of coloring and how it will translate on his clients, I would highly recommend him and the salon as well.

One of the worst things about moving from Singapore was leaving Trimmings behind! I only discovered Trimmings 2 months before leaving, but in that time I had two haircuts and colour done by Alvin. He is wonderful - really listens and makes helpful suggestions. The colour looked great and so natural and the cuts were the best I've had. Trimmings has a great atmosphere with a professional, friendly staff. They put Toni & Guy-type salons to shame. Just give them a try.

This is my first appointment at Trimmings. My appointment was with Carol and she discussed what style would work with my hair. She took me through my haircut and the results were absolutely amazing. I will certainly go to her again for my next appointment in eight weeks.

Visited Trimmings after recommendation by a friend and was not disappointed. My stylist was fantastic at suggesting the cut and the colour, and I'm very happy with the results - he's brilliant. Finally I found a great hairdresser who actually does what was agreed on. Will be going back very soon!

Discovered Trimmings by accident when I was attending a fair at Loewen Gardens. I was looking for a salon to rescue my disastrous cut and orange coloured hair from another salon in Tanglin. Alvin is a complete gem, very professional and both a talented cutter and colourist. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Highly recommended
